  • Nothing came easy for Parsippany Pirates on Sunday, as they fell 8-2 to Jersey Crushers
  • Jersey Crushers got things moving in the first inning. Jersey Crushers scored one run when Rafael Rodriguez doubled.
  • In the bottom of the third inning, Parsippany Pirates tied things up at two when Pete Janiec's sac fly scored one run for Parsippany Pirates.
  • Jersey Crushers pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Alex Lopez homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
  • Jersey Crushers scored three runs in the eighth inning. Jersey Crushers's big inning was driven by a single by Lopez and a home run by Anthony Morales.
  • Janiec was on the pitcher's mound for Parsippany Pirates. He surrendered two runs on two hits over one inning, walking zero. Strein Strein and Tim Abbott entered the game from the bullpen, throwing five innings and two innings respectively.
