Late Score Costs Parsippany Pirates Against Jersey Crushers

- Sunday's game against Jersey Crushers was a heartbreaker for Parsippany Pirates, as they lost the lead late in a 13-10 defeat. Jersey Crushers was down 8-7 in the top of the seventh inning when Daniel Garcia doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
- Brian Corea drove in four runners in the loss. Corea drove in runs on a groundout in the second, a single in the fourth, and a single in the seventh.
- Parsippany Pirates took an early lead in the first inning. Parsippany Pirates scored one run when Michael Heaney singled.
- Parsippany Pirates put up three runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by Parsippany Pirates was led by Corea and Pat Kivlon, all driving in runs in the frame.
- Matthew Randall toed the rubber for Jersey Crushers. He surrendered ten runs on 14 hits over seven innings, striking out five.
