Parsippany Pirates Drops Game To Jersey Crushers After Late Score

- Parsippany Pirates lost the lead late in a 12-7 defeat to Jersey Crushers on Sunday. The game was tied at seven with Jersey Crushers batting in the bottom of the sixth when Matthew Randallsingled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
- Despite the loss, Parsippany Pirates did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Jersey Crushers had five hits on the way to victory.
- In the first inning, Parsippany Pirates got their offense started. Tom Skyes drove in one when he singled.
- Parsippany Pirates scored three runs in the fifth inning. Parsippany Pirates batters contributing to the big inning included Michael Heaney, Francisco Samuel, and Steve Naylor, who each had RBIs in the inning.
- Serritella toed the rubber for Parsippany Pirates. He surrendered 12 runs on five hits over six innings, striking out seven.
- Parsippany Pirates collected ten hits. Samuel, Heaney, and Skyes all collected multiple hits for Parsippany Pirates. Skyes, Heaney, and Samuel each managed two hits to lead Parsippany Pirates.
- Randall went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Jersey Crushers in hits. Jersey Crushers didn't commit a single error in the field. Jphn Kelly had the most chances in the field with one.
