Parsippany Pirates took an early lead in the first inning when Pete Janiec singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
After bergen county buzz scored one run in the top of the third, Parsippany Pirates answered with one of their own. bergen county buzz scored when Alex Walton singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Parsippany Pirates then answered when Ariel Silverio drew a walk, scoring one run.
bergen county buzz took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Edwin Rivera singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Pat Fishon induced Georger Provost to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Golomb doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Martinez singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Rivera toed the rubber for bergen county buzz. He allowed four hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out nine.
Janiec, Bobby Serritella, Steve Naylor, and Pat Kvlon all had one hit to lead Parsippany Pirates.
Spencer Jarvas went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead bergen county buzz in hits.
