On August 25th, the New Jersey Amateur Baseball League (a 501c(7) org) will host a Home Run Derby to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation. We are calling it "NJABL Event to Strikeout Cancer". We are actively recruiting players to participate in the event, to help raise money through donations. Sign up by clicking the RSVP button and making a $15 donation (per person) to secure your spot.
Join us Saturday, August 25th for a Home Run Derby to help strikeout cancer. In collaboration with Birdman Bats (www.birdmanbats.com) &Fairview Bat Company (www.fairviewbatco.com), we will host a Home Run Derby at the Manalapan Recreation Complex to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation (www.pcf.org).
Donation of $15 is required to participate, with 100% of your donation going to PCF.

Format will be pool play, 10 outs per batter, with top 8 advancing to the playoff bracket. Bats for the event will be provided by both Birdman Bats & Fairview Bat Company, showcasing their complete line-up of models for the participants to try out. Finalists will receive prize packages put together by both companies, as well as a league credit for the next season.
Come out and talk baseball with both companies and swap baseball stories.
This should be a fun event and great opportunity for us to raise money for the Prostate Cancer Foundation, an organization working to cure a disease that affects 1 in 9 men. If we work together, we can help make a difference together.
