On this breeze cool Sunday morning, the Cubs would face the Reds without their starting pitchers. The Cubs have 7 pitchers in the rotation but only had 2 this past Sunday. The Cubs would jump to a 1-0 lead in the top of the 2nd inning as an error would bring in Joyler Baguet to lead off things for the Cubs. In the bottom of the 3rd the Reds would strike back with 3 runs of their own to lead the game 3-1. After a few walks in the 4th inning, Rob Carrasco would be taken out of the game as the Reds would score a 4th run. It was Robs 1st start ever as a pitcher and he did all he could to keep his team in the game. Down 4-1 the Cubs would score in the 6th inning and would tie the game 4-4 in the top of the 7th inning. Albert Diaz whom had been pitching for the Cubs in relief, Would not be able to hold the game, as the Reds with men on 1st and 2nd would get the walk off hit to win the game. Reds would win game one of the double header 5-4.

Game 2 was looking ugly for the Cubs as they were headed for disaster. The Reds would score 4 runs in the first inning off of Carlos Vicente who just did not have it. The Cubs would get 2 runs back in that inning as well as this game was heading for a slugfest. Top of the 2nd inning the Reds would strike again and would add 3 more runs to the score as they would chase Carlos out of the game and bring in Tommy Gonzalez. Tommy would keep the damage to minimum in that inning. Bottom of the 2nd the Cubs would go on to add 4 runs of their own to make it 7-6. But the Reds just kept coming. Top of the 3rd the Reds would add 2 more and would also chase Tommy out of the game. Making his 1st appearance as a pitcher was Fidel Hunter Jr. aka 2K9. Fidel had always joked about pitching so he was given the opportunity to do so. Errors on the Cubs defense would lead to 6 more runs for the reds as they would now lead it 15 - 6 in the 6th inning. But just when you though the game was over, the Cubs would storm back with 7 runs of their own in the bottom of the 6th making the game 15-13 Reds. And the things got hairy for the Reds. Bottom of the 7th, Joyler Baguet would lead off with an infield single, followed by another single by Tyrone Jackson, Moises Diaz would follow with another hit to bring in Joyler Baguet 14-15. Nick Stalhman ground out to a fielders choice moving the runners over. With a man on 2nd and 3rd, Keith Lourfing would bring in the game tying run with a sac fly to left tying the game 15-15. The runners would advance on the throw and would put the winning run at 3rd base. Here came 2k9 (Fidel Hunter). Two outs, winning run waiting at 3rd base, would he crack under pressure or would he put the ball in play? Full count it came to be, Fidel would hit a grounder to short stop who did not field the ball committing the error and bringing in the winning run the insane comeback of game 2. Heroes of the game: 2k9 (Fidel Hunter) - unlike hero of the game, as he gets the W and brings in the winning run to win the game.

Moises Diaz : 5-5 at the plate, 6 RBI's, 2 1B, 2 2Bs, 1 3B. Moises had a huge roll on helping the Cubs win this game. He has made a huge impact for the Cubs and should continue to do so.
