Cubs bounce back after losing 2 to the Pirates and go on to beat the Beavers this past Sunday. In game 1 Ryan Carmon would go on to win his 4th game of the season. The Beavers would jump on him early and would get a 2 run lead as Carmon still has not figured out his home field mound and struggled early to find the zone. The cubs would come back and a run of their own to make the score 2-1 Beavers. Carmon would settle down though as the Beavers would threat but would never get another runner to cross home plate after the 1st inning. The Cubs would tie the game in the 2nd inning and would get 2 more in the 3rd inning to go on to win the game 4-2.

In game 2 Ryan Klouser would pitch a gem. He seems fine with his long time home and the mound has not seem to have affected him. Klouser would shot down the Beavers for the 1-0 score and the W. It was a very good defensive performance. We the whole squad shows up the defense plays very well but have to keep that consistency if the Cubs want to stay in a roll.

Next Sunday, the Cubs light up fireworks vs the Vipers. In a 7 inning double Header the Cubs will try to continue to roll and make a push for playoffs.
