Les Polk would get the leadoff walk and Milan Amin would double with one out to put runner on 2nd and 3rd with the top of the lineup next. Mamy Plumacher would be hit by a pitch to lad the bases with 1 out. The 1st run would be driven in by Joyler Baguet as he would reach base on a ground ball to 2nd base which the 2nd baseman would have trouble handling causing the runner to be safe at 1st. Matt Jamandron would drive in the next with  a bases loaded walk to make it 2-0 and Kyle Fisher would drive in the next run with a forced out to make it 3-0. The sharks would come right back in the bottom of the 3rd. After back to back walks, the Sharks would give starter Ryan Carmon some trouble as they would answer with 3 runs of their own. The game would slip away from the Sharks in the 5th as the Cubs would score 4 runs to make it 7-3. With Runners in 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs, Joyler Baguet would do it again by hitting a ground ball to 1st base which the 1st baseman could not handle
and driving in the run putting th eCubs up 4-3. Matt "Ham" Jamandron with runners at the corners would hit double to left center clearing bases and making the score 6-3. The Cubs were not done, as Kyle Fisher would be up next  and hit a doulbe of his own to bring in Matt "Ham" Jamandron for the score of 7-3 Cubs. With relief/closer Benito Gonzalez taking the mound, the Sharks would go on to score a run at the bottom of the 7inning but that would be all. The Cubs would go on to win it 7-4.

Game 2

Short handed and no one else to pitch, The Sharks would be blown away in 5 innings as the Cubs would go on to win 12-2. Joshua Reyes would take the mound for the 2nd time this season and would produce the Win for the Cubs allowing just 2 runs in 4 innings of work. Benito Gonzalez would come in the 5th to seal the deal. How did it get there? Bottom of the 2nd inning Elija Reyes would be reach base after being hit by a pitch. He would than reach 2nd on a pass ball before Ryan Klouser would hit a double to drive Eli in for the 1st score of the game and would make it all the way to home plate as the Sharks would commit errors to allow Klouser to reach home safe, score 2-0. The Cubs did not stop there. Lou Sihlanick would single and would reach 3rd base on wild pitches.
Vinnie Tagliareni would drive in the 3rd run of the game with an RBI single. With a monstrous double to deep left field, Milan Amin would drive in Vinnie Tagliareni for the score of 4-0. Manny Plumacher and Joyler Baguet would each single and drive in a run as well for the score of 6-0. The Sharks would get on the board with 2 runs in the 4th as Joshua Reyes had put the Cubs in winning position and had almost guaranteed the W for the Cubs. The Cubs were not done though. Bottom of the 4th the Cubs would score 3 more Les Polk would be driven in Keith Lourfing's first hit and RBI of the season. Carlos Napoles would score as well on the RBI single by Milan Amin and Keith Lourfing would also score on the RBI single by Joyler Baguet.
