Klouser Impressive

The Cubs , The REDS went at it this past Sunday and it had the playoffs atmosphere as both teams we competing for seed 1 in the division. In game 1 The REDS would get to Johnny Torregroza on some timely hits and would score 7 runs on the lefty who has been impressive all FAll. Still Johnny would go on to K 10 REDs batters. The Cubs would score 2 and threaten all game but left too many runners in scoring position and did not take advantage to score more runs. Despite the loss, Johnny Torregroza has been a key addition to the pitching staff for the Edison Cubs and his manager/MR.COACH, has all faith in him heading into the playoffs.

Down a game but not out, the Cubs would come out swinging and scoring runs. With Ryan Klouser (THE KLOUSERATOR) on the mound, the Cubs would go on to beat the REDS 11-0 in 6 innings. Ryan Klouser would only allow 1 hit in 5 innings of work and closer Kyle Doerr would shot the door in the 6th inning to complete the shootout. We might have a CYOUNG winner in the Fall as Ryan Klouser was very impressive in his 4 outings during the fall. Klouser would win all 4 of his starts allowing only 2 runs all fall while earning only 1. With a .35 ERA Klouser is a top favorite to win the award in the FALL again  as he did last season.

Making a difference.

The Fall regular season is over. The Cubs go on to claim seed 1 in the playoffs for the South with  a 7-3 record. This could not happen without some key additions to the fall team and these new faces made an impact.

#1 SS. Manny Plumacher: Great attitude, a ball player, all about the team, and a wall at Short Stop. Manny has been the staple of the defense and has left every one impressed by the way he plays the position.

#27 Elijah Lynn: Always working at his craft. Before, during and after the game, Lynn is always working on his swing. Always pumped up to play and is a crafty pitcher as well above all.

#42 Johnny Torregroza: Johnny is one of the biggest addition to the staff. With Johnny and Klouser, the combination is just deadly. Johnny has been impressive in the Fall and will be a huge addition to the Cubs future going forward. Johnny won 2 of his 3 starts including a NO-NO which could have been a perfect game and since then has been very impressive.

#12 Kyle Doerr: The Cubs closer just has nasty speed and nasty pitches. Once he is in say good night The Game is over. Kyle Doerr has been a team player through out the Fall and is always looking to close the door in games. In 5 innings pitched, Kyle has stroken out 10 batters earning a save, allowing an unearned run with a  0.00 ERA.

#5 Steve Ferrao: Steve played last fall with the Cubs and has come back this fall as well. Great attitude, a team player and is as quiet as Carlos. When he is in the games Steve commands Center field and has been very good on that side of the ball. Will need that going forward as the playoffs are here.
