The Edison Cubs would face off against their town rivals the Edison A's. In game 1 Ryan Klouser (new nickname "The Klouserator") was lights out as he would K 11 over 7 innings of work for the shootout and complete game. Enough said there was nothing else to say as Klouser would make game 1 all about him.

In game 2 the Cubs would fall to the A's 6-4. Joshua Reyes would start for the 2nd time in the seasonand would putting a really good hearted effort. The defense however would let him down as the Cubs would commit 6 errors for the 1st time all season which would cost them the game. Out of the 6 runs the A's would score, only 3 were earned. Although the Cubs lost the game, one thing is for sure. Kyle Doerr is the real deal as he would K 7 in just 3 innings of work. Next week the Cubs will battle for division supremacy as they will battle against the REDS for the division. The Battle of the ACES here we go, lets get real, lets play ball and lets win it.
