The Cubs continue to roll in the Fall season and now are tied for division lead at 5-1. Next week the Cubs will face the Edison Reds in the battle for the Division. This week the Cubs faced and swept the Spartans as it was the show of Johnny Terragroza in game 1 who pitched 6 innings while K-ing12 and allowing a run. Kyle Doerr would come in the 7th inning to close things out and record the save pitching 1 inning and K-ing 2.

In game 2 a little bit of the same medicine. As Ryan Klouser was fresh as he had last week off and the rest did him great. Klouser would go a full 7 innings K-ing 13 batters and an unearned run. Once again pitching, defense and timely hitting have been the key to a so far thrilling Fall season. That's it for today folks , see you all at Billian Field Sunday at 8:30AM game start.
