Some folks saw the writing on the wall, while others may stare at this in disbelief... but the New Jersey Amateur Baseball League has come to terms with the Somerset Patriots and officially has been added to their partnership family for the 2014 & 2015 seasons.

This was a move that projected us into the direction we wanted to go with the organization. We feel that TD Bank Ballpark will offer an overall atmosphere and experience unlike any other in the state for our players, and we are extremely excited about what is to come.

We have already secured April 5/6th as Opening Day for the league in 2014, with our North Wood Champions (Colt. 45s), South Wood Champions (NJ Shockers) and Metal Champions (New Providence Reds) all slated to open their 2014 campaigns in TD Bank Ballpark.

In addition, our All-Star games will take place June 28-29th in Bridgewater as well, and expect the league to roll out the red carpet in 2014 for it's All-Star participants. If you were part of our 2013 All-Star games, you should be aware of the amount of detail we put into it. If you missed them, we do have albums posted with over 200 photos from each game. We promise that 2014 will be unlike anything you've ever seen in an amateur league before. Expect to be blown away.

As we move forward, we want to thank the Newark Bears for their tremendous hospitality in 2013. It was a pleasure working with Danielle, Luis, John and the rest of the organization to hammer out 3 All Star Games, 2 Opening Day games (League Launch), and 7 regular season games scattered. Additionally, the memory of our Premiere players taking the field against the Bears for a May scrimmage, as well as the Somerville Giants v Bears exhibition was a unique experience they all will cherish. We wish the organization luck going forward, and hope to cross paths again in the future.
