The concept was simple... offer a fall All-Star Game that joins all levels of play, for a fun bonus game in an immaculate facility.

On Saturday Oct 12th @ 2pm, the Fall All-Stars of the New Jersey Amateur Baseball League will take to TD Bank Ballpark to battle in a friendly game, meant to bring players at all levels together for an exhibition. The only thing on the line, bragging rights for the league commissioners who drafted the teams. 

''Mike & I thought it would be fair to take the player pool of All-Stars, split out the levels of play, and then draft teams that contained an equal number of players from each level. We set some rules for the draft, and I think he's gonna get smoked by my roster... ha ha, " noted Tim post draft.

Believe what he will, I think my team is stacked to compete. We set some rules for fair play that included

1. No Premiere Pitcher may throw to players below the Intermediate Level, which make them situational pitchers for the game. 

2. Teams must contain an even, or close, number of players from each level

3. Players from same team would be drafted together as a package deal

We think this will be a fun ballgame on a perfect field, a treat for our guys to enjoy. We expect a lot of laughs, some good competition, and just a great atmosphere for baseball.

With rain in the forecast this coming weekend, the rain date for the game will be set for next Saturday, Oct 19th if things are called off due to conditions. All teams will be contacted in the event of postponement, and we will post on facebook/homepage on gameday whether game is on or off.
