Chris Janiec threw a shutout to lead Parsippany Pirates past Master Batters 1-0 on Sunday.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Janiec struck out 16, while Steve sat down 12.
A single by Meech in the fifth inning was a positive for Master Batters.
Janiec was on the mound for Parsippany Pirates. He allowed one hit and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 16.
Steve led things off on the hill for TBD. They allowed three hits and one run over six innings, striking out 12.
Brian Corea went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Parsippany Pirates in hits.
Meech led Master Batters with one hit in three at bats.
