- A walk-off single propelled Parsippany Pirates to a decisive, dramatic victory over Vipers, 5-4.Parsippany Pirates was down 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Pete Janiec singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
- Parsippany Pirates took an early lead in the second inning. Brian Corea doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
- Parsippany Pirates evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning when Andrewinduced Nick Jannarone to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
- Joe Cohen toed the rubber for Parsippany Pirates. He surrendered two runs on four hits over five innings, striking out four.
- Andrew was on the hill for Vipers. He lasted six and a third innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out four.
