Focused on our league vision...

Right before we launched, I had a conversation with another league commissioner who gave me 4 tips to consider:

1. Do not grow too quickly, realize patience and delivering on promises will make you a success faster than you will expect

2. When your competitor's start talking poorly and spreading false rumors about you... they know your product is better than theirs and they are trying to save customers. You've officially become a threat, and thats flattery at it's finest in business

3. As you grow, never lose sight of the original goal... as the business becomes more successful the quality should get better, not diminish

4. Remember family always comes first

Are we flattered at all the attention we've received from competitors... no. We are thankful in many regards for the position and interest we have received, and while others make it a campaign to say negative nonsense... we continue to build our brand stronger.

As we are about 40 days from Opening Day, we still consider ways to expand/improve our brand. Our goal this year was to create a league by players, delivering the most dynamic Amateur Weekend League experience our customers have ever seen. We've partnered with the Newark Bears to deliver an Opening Day unlike any other, 2 weekends of All Star Games, 10 regular season games in the stadium, delivered great equipment and bat deals, and we continue to push for you.

Our Premiere Wood league has already become the most competitive weekend wood league in North/Central NJ, featuring 3 of the 4 champions from last season, the top winning % teams, and 10 teams who have championships to their name. It is going to be a special launch, and a special season for all 16 teams.

As a league, we supply all our managers with a league fee breakdown... showing you everything from cost of baseballs, insurance, umpire assigning, to field proceeds and profit margins. We know what we've built, and are comfortable showing you our model. When you see how  much these components are, you will be amazed at how much others are profitting off your hard earned dollar.

We are alligning ourselves with teams, business', and leagues that make sense and help our league goal to be the  "best baseball league experience in the state".

We are aware of our market, and know that curiosity continues to loom for many teams on the sidelines...waiting to see how the first season pans out. That's fair, and I understand your take... but wouldn't you want to be part of something from the ground up, be part of it's foundation? Why wait another year playing the same teams, same customer service, same disappointments? Are your league schedules going to be up and ready for you before Opening Day? Are you content with the free website they've pulled together with no navigation embedded within it?

We are honored that people continue to waste their time talking about what they do not know. We have not had a game under our belt, but people think they are experts on what we will deliver. While they are spending time figuring ways to spin our model into negative slander, we are using our time to strengthen our foundation and make our league unbelievable for our players. This year, and every one goign forward, is about all of you, getting what you deserve out of your weekend league. We are focused on delivering our vision... and are more determined than ever to exceed expectations. Those waiting to see the results will be sorry they missed out on this extroadinary year ahead.
